This year, the four-day long global summit which began on Tuesday is celebrating everything Indian. If on the one hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convinced everyone with his powerful speech to invest in India, on the other hand, Indian food, films and culture and heritage wooed the world in Davos.
"We are showcasing various achievements. We will also give a taste of Indian cuisine, a taste of culture and heritage," Ramesh Abhishek, head of the department of industrial policy and promotion (DIPP) was quoted as saying by Reuters.
"Two yoga experts are going from here. We have arranged that. We are offering a facility for doing yoga in the Alps," he added.
The two yoga teachers expressed their gratitude to PM Modi for taking the decision to showcase yoga on a global platform like the WEF.
"We will be showcasing yoga at such world level platform. This has happened only because of PM Modi. I am very happy to get a chance of bringing yoga to such a high-level platform. We will be conducting yoga training sessions during morning and evening time over here at Davos," Acharya Smit told ANI.
Acharya Bharadwaj added, "The overall environment of Switzerland is very happening and positive. Tomorrow (on Wednesday) we will be taking yoga training session, which will be for about 45-minute. We have divided the whole session into four parts. We will be commencing with a warm-up session, then Yogasana, then Dhyan and Pranayama and finally about how to live a spiritual life."
Both Acharya Bhardwaj and Acharya Smit were seen smiling from ear to ear once they arrived at Davos on Monday. Although it has been snowing heavily in the resort town of Switzerland, the two gurus sported their regular cotton outfits.

India's strategy at the global meet is pretty clear--entice the world by hard selling the country's economic assets and soft power like yoga.
As the world leaders will be brainstorming on various social, political and economic issues in the icy heights of Davos, yoga will definitely help to calm those frayed nerves.
