Sitamarhi, Oct 27: It seems, that law and order has become a big joke in Bihar. And the Chief Minister of the State Jitan Ram Manjhi has no time to keep a check on that, though he has become popular for stocking series of controversies recently. The Report say that inmates in Bihar jail have free access to mobile phones and cash. And big shocking news is that authorities hardly worry about that.

A haul of items, including 14 mobile phones, were today seized from the premises of a divisional jail in Sitamarhi district of Bihar, a police official said. A team of civil and police officials led by Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Singh raided the divisional jail premises and seized the mobile phones, 16 chargers, Rs 16,220 cash, besides bottles of foreign liqour from the prison cells, Deputy Superintendent of Police M N Upadhyaya said.

A report will be sent to the district administration for initiating action against jail officials for their alleged role in allowing supply of these items to the inmates, he said.

Bihar has been notorious for jungle raj in the ninties, when RJD chief lalu Prasad Yadav was at the helm of affairs . Some report says that under Majhi's regime, the State is going in that direction again. He has hardly any time left after hitting the headlines with series of recent controversies. Recently the Chief Minister had warned doctors of the state saying that he will cut their hands if they will neglect the poor.

Manjhi- Controversial child

Manjhi has skirted a series of controversies recently. Reportedly some of his statements have not augured well among party leaders. After Patna stampede, he had visited Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) and whimpered about the worst condition of Bihar's one of the premier Hospital.

Report say that earlier he had defended the same officials and then finally out of blue transferred them. Earlier he had said he had to pay a bribe of Rs 5,000 to get his work done when Nitish kumar was at helm of affair. The lists doesn't end here. Manjhi also hit the headline after he alleged that a temple in Madhubani was "washed" after his visit.
