Labourer beaten to death for demanding wages in Rajasthan
A young labourer was allegedly beaten to death by two people for demanding wages in Rajasthan's Bundi district, police said.
The man identified as Suresh Bairwa alias Kalu, 22, was a resident of Susa village under Karwar police station.
Bairwa was brutally beaten when he reached the residence of the two accused - Bhanwarlal Meena and Rajesh Meena - to ask for his wages early morning today, SHO Ramvilas said, adding that they killed him and handed over his body to his family members, the SHO said.
Both
the
accused
were
absconding,
the
SHO
said,
adding
the
police
have
registered
a
case
against
both
the
accused
under
relevant
sections
of
the
Indian
Penal
Code
(IPC).
The
body
was
handed
over
to
the
family
after
post-mortem,
he
said.
