Kerala: Case registered against VHP leader Sadhvi Saraswati
Kerala Police has registered a case against VHP leader Sadhvi Saraswati for allegedly exhorting violence and hurting religious sentiments in her speech at a Hindu convention near here recently.
The case was registered under sections 295A,153A and IPC 506 for making hate speech at a public meeting in Kasaragod on April 27.
According to reports, Sadhvi Saraswati had asked men to gift swords to their sisters, so they can behead any love jihadi and offer it to Mother India. Men who slaughter cows should be beheaded in the same manner, she reportedly said.
In March 2015, a similar case was registered against her for making provocative statements at a function in Mangalore in Karnataka.
