Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 6: A three-member delegation of BJP leaders from Kerala will meet Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday to apprise him of political violence allegedly sponsored by the ruling CPI-M in the state. The delegation will also seek Centre's intervention on the issue.

The delegation would include BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan, national executive member V Muraleedharan and senior leader P K Krishnadas. The decision to meet the union minister was taken during a core committee meeting of party leaders held in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.

"Political violence has reached its pinnacle in Kerala. CPI-M is spreading violence through primitive methods. State-sponsored violence is happening in Kerala," Rajasekharan alleged.

"A three-member delegation will meet union minister Rajnath Singh seeking the Centre's intervention on the matter," he said.

On the ongoing students' strike in Kerala Law Academy Law College, he said the core committee meeting decided to intensify the protest against 'exploitation in all self-financing institutions' in the state.
