New Delhi, Apr 8: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has invited suggestions from people on how to implement the exemption for cars carrying school-children during the second round of odd-even car rationing scheme.

The government had yesterday announced that it would keep cars carrying school children out of the scheme.

Reacting to a tweet which praised the government's move to exempt cars carrying school children but raised concern as to how parents would pick up their wards, Kejriwal tweeted, "Thats a real problem.

Looking for a solution. Pl suggest if anyone has any ideas (sic)."

Delhi Transport Minister Gopal Rai said the government has received two-three suggestions for the issue. "A group of persons has suggested to us to ask the city's private schools to issue an authority letter to parents through which they can drop and pick up their children," Rai said.

Sources said the government may ask the city's private schools to issue a pass or some document to parents through which they can pick up their children in the afternoon.

They further said the government is also contemplating to increase the age limit of children travelling in cars during the scheme from 12 years to 18 years. Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal had urged the Transport Minister to consider the same.
