Two days after former Supreme Court Judge Markandey Katju's made sarcastic remarks about Bihar, Twitterati just could not stop cracking jokes, on Wednesday. Thus the hashtag Bihar to Pakistan trended on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Katju, infamous for his foot-in-mouth disease, on social media offered Kashmir to Pakistan on condition that it should take Bihar too.

"It's a package deal. You have to take the whole package or none at all. Either you take both Kashmir and Bihar or nothing. We will not give you Kashmir alone," Katju tweeted as well as posted on Facebook on Monday.

While Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy, Tejaswi Yadav, were enraged over the "malicious comments" made by Katju, Twitter had a fun-filled day.

It is not just the politicians of Bihar who were unhappy with Katju's "humiliating Bihar comments". Even many micro-blogging site users have condemned Katju.

After he received severe criticism, Katju said the comment was made in a lighter vein and he respected Bihar and its people.

"Kuch log chapne ke liye ghar baithe hi bolte rehte hain...kya woh Bihar ke mai-baap ban gaye hain? [While sitting at home some people makes comment for publicity... has he (Mr. Katju) become the guardian of Bihar]," asked the Chief Minister.

Janata Dal-United MLC in Bihar, Neeraj Kumar, on Tuesday filed an FIR against Katju for his sarcastic comment about Bihar. Kumar said he has lodged an FIR against Katju as his comment hurt 10.5 crore Biharis, living in the state, in India and abroad.
