Karnataka PU question paper leak: Principal and 3 teachers on radar

Bengaluru, April 8: The investigation being conducted following the leak of the Chemistry paper in Karnataka will unearth a major racket.

On the radar is a principle of a private college and several more teachers, CID officials say. The CID has managed to get the call records of the accused persons and this has led them to a major trail.

Right from officials in the board to teachers who set the question papers in the past three years are on the scanner and there is a likelihood of several more arrests in the days to come, a CID official informed.

It may be recalled that the II PU students of Karnataka were put to great hardship after the Chemistry paper leaked twice in ten days. The date of the examination had been postponed twice.

Big racket, big fish:

The CID as part of its probe is also checking on all those teachers who had set the question paper for the PU in the past three years.

Further the principle of a private college has come under the scanner following the interrogation of the three persons who were arrested earlier this week.

It is a big racket says the CID assuring that it would get to the bottom of it. The CID says that members of the board will also be questioned.

A list of teachers has already been prepared and they would be summoned to the CID office for questioning soon.
