Karnataka exit polls: 'Congress will exit from Karnataka', says BS Yeddyurappa
Bharatiya Janata Party president Yeddyurappa exuded confidence and said that BJP will win 125 to 130 assembly constituencies.
Attacking the Karnataka chief minister, he added Siddaramaiah will not win in either of the constituencies.
''There is no doubt that BJP will form government in Karnataka. Congress will exit from Karnataka. No question of joining hands with anyone,'' said Yeddyurappa.
Yeddyurappa also said,''Within 24 hours of me becoming Chief Minister, I will waive off loans like promised in our manifesto.''
A high-stakes battle for the Karnataka Assembly ended on Saturday evening, with over 35 million voting in an election crucial for the ruling Congress as well as the BJP and the JD-S.
All three main contenders for power -- Congress, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) -- claimed they would win hands down.
