Karnataka elections: Siddaramaiah most preferred as CM, BSY second, ABP opinion poll
Siddaramaiah leads in terms of choice of Chief Minister of Karnataka, said the ABP survey. The incumbent chief minister has attracted 30% votes of respondents who believe should continue as the next chief minister if Congress comes to power.
Not far behind is BS Yeddyurappa who is preferred by 25% of the total respondents. HD Kumaraswamy is at a distant third with 20% votes.
27 percent are satisfied with Siddaramaiah's performance while Modi government's performance at the Centre is liked by 25%.
As per the opinion poll, several factors are in favour of Siddaramaiah, who is fighting anti-incumbency in a state that has not given any government a second term in a long time. Supreme Court's recent verdict in the Cauvery river sharing matter was in favour of Karnataka.
