Karnataka Cabinet; Baig, Reddy among big names to miss the bus
There are voices of dissent with many MLAs of both the Congress and JD(S) being left out in the Cabinet expansion in Karnataka that took place today.
Congress MLA, B C Patil and senior JD(S) leader, Basavaraj Horatti were open about their disappointment. I am the only Congress MLA from Haveri district and I have won thrice. I should have been made a minister, Patil told reporters.
Horatti on the other hands aid that it was the duty of the JD(S) to make him minister. I am pained that my name was not on the list, he also said. While both said they would not rebel, Congress leader Satish Jarkiholli was more expressive. He stated a protest outside the Vidhan Soudha after being left out.
