Karnataka bandh: Home Minister appeals for peace
Home Minister said protestors should refrain from damaging public property. Also, he requested people to cooperate with police to maintain law and order.
In the wake of Karnataka bandh, Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy appealed people to protest peacefully without taking the law into their hands.

Police forces have been deployed in all the 30 districts to main law and order, said Ramalinga Reddy in a media briefing held in KPCC Office.
Several private schools and state government offices are expected to be shut tomorrow following the bandh call was given by organisations protesting against the Centre's apathy towards the Mahadayi dispute.
Karnataka has locked horns with Goa over the Mahadayi river sharing issue to supply water for Hubballi and Dharwad towns for drinking water through Kalasa-Banduri canal. Recently, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said he would go by the decision taken by the Mahadayi river water sharing tribunal.
