Journalists will lose jobs if Modi continues with email interviews: Shiv Sena
Mumbai, Aug 14: The BJP's sulking ally, Shiv Sena has said that journalists would lose their jobs if the Prime Minister continued to speak with the media through emails instead of face to face interviews.
In an editorial in its mouth piece, Saamna, the Shiv Sena said that the PM had chosen a short cut of emails for media interviews. It is a propaganda exercise and a kind of a monologue prevalent in countries such as China and Russia.

Journalists would lose their jobs if the PM continued with such interviews via emails and he would only be tasked with making available employment for them, the editorial also said.
Further the editorial said that the PM had not addressed a single press conference after becoming Prime Minister. Instead he created a cage around himself and not speaking with the media does not behove Narendra Modi's image, it further stated.
