Jayalalithaa case: A R Rahman performed free of cost at foster son's wedding
According to a TOI report, Rahman had accepted wedding invitation accompanied by silver and silk.
Besides, Rahman, other VIP names that whose statements were recorded in Jayalalithaa's DA case were late U Srinivas, mandolin maestro and music director Gangai Amaran.
The report said that in 1994, Amaran 'sold' his 22-acre farmhouse at Payyanur to Sasikala, who told him "Amma likes your farmhouse".
Jayalaithaa's arrest last Saturday led to sporadic violence in Tamil Nadu, with reports of 16 people dead.
