Jaw dropping offer: Pune-based IIT Kharagpur boy bags Rs 2 crore package at Google

Pune, Nov 24: Four days after a Delhi boy landed a mega job offer at the search engine giant Google, now, a student from IIT Kharagpur has received a lucrative job offer of Rs 2 crore annual package.

22-year-old Abhishek Pant hails from Pune and presently, he is in the final year of computer science engineering at IIT Kharagpur.

In May this year, Pant had bagged a 3-month internship at Google Inc. in California. For Pant, getting a job offer from the same company was like an icing on cake, but it wasn't a cakewalk.

To get an entry into world's one of the top IT company, Pant had to pass through a series of rigorous interviews.

Pant was born and brought up in US, but his family shifted to Pune in 2006. He became Pune's topper in CBSE X board, when he secured 97.6%. He studied at Delhi Public School in Pune.

Excited Pant, who has been inducted into the design solutions cell, is all set to join Google at California in September 2016.

While talking to a leading daily, Pant said that as an internee at Google, he explored all food options offered there, including Indian, American, South American, Italian, Japanese and Mexican cuisines.
