J&K: BJP youth leader killed by terrorists in Shopian
Shopian district youth wing president of Bharatiya Janata Party was brutally murdered by unknown persons on Thursday.
According to the sources, the dead body was found in Kiloora village and the throat of the deceased was slit.
The slain man was identified as Gowhar Ahmad, a resident of Shopian.
Meanwhile, a BJP functionary said the deceased was associated with the party. "Bhat was the district president of the BJP's youth wing," party's media in-charge for Kashmir, Altaf Thakur, said here. He said Bhat had been associated with the party for over two years.
The police have registered a case and investigations are on.
