ISIS Indian recruiter Afsha Jabeel dreams of global caliphate, say investigators
New Delhi, Oct 31: Afsha Jabeel, alias Nicky Joseph the alleged recruiter for the ISIS in India, dreams of global caliphate, said investigators.
Afsha Jabeel, who reportedly confessed to having tried to lure Indian Muslim youth to work for the Islamic State, was recently deported to Hyderabad from the UAE.
The investigators reveal that Afsha Jabeel has been a great follower of the religious extremism of the ISIS and believed that global caliphate would be a set up some day, reported the Times of India.
Investigators found her as a committed religious fanatic. It was a joyful experience for her when Abu- Bakr al-Baghdadi declared a self-proclaimed caliphate in Iraq and Syria.
"I like a caliphate where Sharia law is enforced... the election of caliph will be done by Shura council rather than namesake democracy," Jabeen, is understood to have told Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials.
