Ex-Infosys boss on Tuesday met AAP leaders Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia at the Delhi CM's office, says Economic Times report.

If Kejriwal manages to get Murthy on board, he will be second IT honcho to join the party after former Infosys director V Balakrishnan who contested Lok Sabha polls from Bengaluru last year.

Meanwhile, AAP member Adarsh Shastri insisted that Murthy had only paid a courtesy call. This even as an official statement from the Delhi government said the three "discussed several issues of social relevance".

Speaking to media after the meeting, Murthy said, "I went to meet Arvind to introduce Akshaya Patra to him and his colleagues. Patra is an NGO working to implement the Supreme Court-mandated midday meal scheme in government schools."
