Trump and Modi Sarkar to be best friends: Predictions on Indo-US ties
A prominent Indian-American industrialist predicts that Trump Sarkar and Modi Sarkar will be best friends.
New Delhi, Nov 15: Both President-elect Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power with a huge mandate.
Recently, after the results of the US Presidential Elections 2016 were declared, Modi immediately congratulated Trump on his win.
Although at a time when Modi government is facing severe criticism for scrapping high value currency notes in the country and protestors across America are expressing their anger against Trump being elected as their President, however, a prominent Indian-American industrialist predicts that Trump Sarkar and Modi Sarkar will be best friends.
"I have no doubt that Trump Sarkaar (government) and Modi Sarkaar will be the best friends and the two leaders will be unparalleled friends in the history of world leadership," said Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) founder and Indian-American industrialist Shalabh Kumar.
Kumar expressed confidence that Trump will be president for two terms and the Modi government too will get a second term, giving both leaders at least eight years to work together at the world stage.
Citing strong growth in bilateral economic cooperation, Kumar said he is confident that "under Trump Sarkaar and Modi Sarkaar, India and US trade will reach one trillion dollars per year in the next eight years."
