Indian terrorist becomes ISIS poster boy in new video
New Delhi, May 2: Indian terrorist Anwar Hussain has emerged as new poster boy for the Islamic State (ISIS), media reported.
Hussain, a resident of Bhatkal in Karnataka, was reportedly killed in Afghanistan while fighting for the ISIS in 2014.
He has been made the poster boy of the terror outfit with an aim to lure more youth to the group.
"Jihad is our duty. For this we (jihadists) have come from several parts of the world. Despite this, Allah ensured good food for all of us. We got best of best food and friends here. In this fight Allah has given us all those things, which one cannot get, even being rich," the Daily Mail reported.
The 14-minute long video also contains Hussian's message "No one has provoked me nor did anyone force me. I have come here at my will."
The narrator in the video message describes the background of Husain and the views of other 'jihadists' about Hussain.
ISIS executed over 4,000 in Syria in last two years: report
Hussian was supposed to go back to India to become a 'fidayeen', added the video message.
This video has been termed as the propaganda technique to revive the recruitment drive because the attraction for the ISIS had been reducing among Indian Muslim youth.
