Bengaluru, March 9: 22 year old Anand Prakash is a genius and he has proved this on foreign grounds. A Bengaluru-based computer programmer has been awarded about Rs 10 lakh by Facebook for reporting a bug through which he could hack into any Facebook account. He could do this by using a relatively simple software.

A product security engineer with Flipkart, Prakash wrote in his blogpost that he discovered a small vulnerability that could have been used to hack into user's Facebook account to get access to credit card details, personal pictures and messages without any user interference.

He also said that he has earned about Rs 1.2 crore from various social media sites like Twitter and otherUS-based companies.

Celebrating his victory, he said,"I started doing this before I completed my graduation in BTech. So far, 90 bugs have been reporte for Facebook and about 30 for Twitter.

"On this site, I could try as many times as I wanted. I used the brute force algorithm method which allowed me to try the combinations from 0 to 9 on the six-digit code. This was a bug which could be exploited by anyone," Prakash added.
