It's a 'big' Tuesday for India as the nation celebrated its 70th Independence Day. People from across the country joined hands to celebrate the historic occasion with great gusto.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the countrymen as India celebrated its Independence Day from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Assam to Gujarat. Every inch of the country was soaked in patriotic fervor on Tuesday.
