In Taj City, man shoots fiancee, kills himself
Agra, April 18: A man here on Sunday, April 17 shot dead his fiancee, who had refused to marry him, before turning the gun on himself, police said.
Rukhsar, 23, was shot dead by Nadeem, 25, who immediately afterwards shot himself.
Sadar thana police said Rukhsar, resident of Indrapuram was engaged to Nadeem two months ago but had now refused to marry him. This led to tension between the two families.
On Sunday, Nadeem, with his friend Salman, reached her house and tried to persuade her but failed. Subsequently, her family members heard gunshots from the room, they rushed to find the two lying in a pool of blood.
