World Wildlife Day is celebrated every year on March 3 and this year the theme is 'Listen to the Young Voices.' It is celebrated to mark the signing of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).

The day aims to create awareness and encourages people across the globe to protect endangered species. On Twitter, people began posting imagges using the hasgtag #DoOneThingToday to create awareness about the day on Friday.
