New Delhi, Nov 7 British Prime Minister Theresa May is on her first bilateral visit outside of Europe since she took over as Prime Minister in July this year.

She took over the prime ministership after David Cameron resigned following the historic referendum in June in which Britain voted to exit from the European Union.

Theresa May is visiting India a little less than a year after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Britain in November last year.
