New Delhi, Aug 15: A day after a survey predicted a grim picture for the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections, another opinion survey has said that the party would win 227 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The survey conducted by the War Room Strategy and Utopia Consulting which was aired by a prominent news channel however gave the Congress 78 seats. The survey however said that it would be the regional players who would gain the most with 238 seats.

The survey however said that Narendra Modi is still the top choice for the post of Prime Minister, while Rahul Gandhi comes a distant second.

On Monday, CVoter survey predicted that the Congress would win 117 out of 230 seats in MP, 54 out of 90 seats in Chhattisgarh and 130 out of 200 seats in Rajasthan.
