IAF's Jaguar fighter jet crashes in Kutch, pilot dies
An IAF pilot killed after Jaguar fighter jet crashed in Kutch's Mundra on Tuesday. The aircraft was on a routine training mission from Jamnagar. The Pilot, Air Cmde Sanjay Chauhan, lost his life in the crash. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the crash.
The wreckage of the jet has been found. The plane's debris was strewn far and wide on the outskirts of the village, locals said. "The plane, which was on a routine sortie, crashed near Bareja village," said an official in Gujarat.

The incident comes months after an IAF helicopter crashed in Assam's Majuli island, killing two pilots -- Wing Commander J James and Wing Commander D Vats.
