According to sources, members of SHE team of police found the cab driver filming the woman passenger in his cab on a mobile phone while driving.
Speaking about the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rama Rajeshwari R was quoted as saying, "The woman, a BPO employee, was sitting in the front seat and had dozed off at the time and hence unaware that the driver was filming her."
"The police stopped his car, seized the cell phone and found a seven-minute footage of the woman in it," she said.
The woman was reluctant to file a complaint but the manager of the BPO firm where she works filed a complaint after which a case was registered and the driver was arrested, she said.
Cyberabad police last month deployed 60 special 'SHE teams', especially in the IT Corridor, to curb offences against women, especially eve-teasing and stalking.
