Hope Pakistan will keep its promise on terrorism, says India
New Delhi, Oct 23: India has expressed its hope that Pakistan's promise to US on terrorism will be a reality soon, media reported on Friday.
"We have also read assurances on terrorism by Pakistan. I hope they deliver," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said.
"Terrorism naturally comes to mind when talking about Pakistan. The US-Pak joint statement devotes much space to it," the MEA spokesperson said while addressing media.
His statement has come when Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who is in US on 4-day visit made promises to take action against United Nations-designated terrorist individuals and entities, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and its affiliates.
