Here is a full list of facilities what Sasikala enjoys in jail

Sasikala Natarajan is in jail serving her sentence after being convicted in the disproportionate assets case. There has been a lot of talk about the kind of lifestyle she is leading in the Bengaluru central jail situated at Parappana Agrahara. According to the director general of prisons, the only special facility she has been given is a television set.

[Why did Sasikala Natarajan walk to Bengaluru central jail?]

Chennai-based lawyer, M P Rajavelayutham filed an Right to Information application seeking to know what facilities Sasikala had in jail. The DG prisons replied to the RTI query stating that apart from a television set she does not enjoy any other special facilities.

The list:

• One television set
• No separate bathroom
• No heater
• No airconditioner
• No water heater
• No cot and mattress

No transfer application:

He said that a separate television set was given to her since she heads a political party, the AIADMK. The reply also stated that she had has not made any application seeking a transfer to the Puzhal prison in Chennai.

Further the DG said that she was allowed to meet her nephew TTV Dinakaran for 40 minutes on February 20. Citing the Karnataka prison manual, the DG said that every prisoner is allowed to meet their visitors. The reply also stated that she had made a request for several facilities, but not all were granted.
