Heart breaking: Stray pigs kill infant girl in Telangana
Warangal, Jan 1: In a shocking incident, an infant was killed by stray pigs in Telangana. It was noticed by some locals when they saw pigs dragging the body from a garbage heap.
According to reports, the infant girl was thrown by some unidentified people in the garbage heap near the Padmakshi temple at Hanamkonda in Warangal.
Pigs tore the head of the infant girl and partially consumed the body on Thursday. Locals who rushed to rescue her called the police and the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation workers to collect her remains.
"The baby was wrapped in a plastic bag and thrown in the garbage where the pigs who were scavenging, tore the cover and killed the baby," said the police.
