Has Arvind Kejriwal accepted 'Z' category VIP security?
Kejriwal took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to clarify that he has not accepted Z security and said that the "God is his biggest security".
Kejriwal's outburst on his security issue comes in the backdrop of some media reports claiming that he has accepted Z security that includes 25 police personnel.
Media is running a "mischievous campaign" against me: Kejriwal
According to an IE report, Kejriwal had accepted the ‘Z' category security in January after getting threats from terror group Indian Mujahidden (IM), a few days before he resigned as the chief minister of Delhi.
Yesterday, a person named Sagar Bhandari smeared black ink on senior AAP leader Yogendra Yadav during an event at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
Later, he revealed that he actually wanted to 'target' Kejriwal.
The AAP leader said that a section of the media was running a "mischievous campaign and false stories against him."
45-year-old Kejriwal, who formed government in Delhi on December 25, has consistently refused to take security cover, from both the Delhi and Ghaziabad police.
Kejriwal has repeatedly maintained that the "God is his biggest security."
