Gurgaon hit-and-run: 7 year-old sccumbs to injuries


Gurgaon, May 18: A seven year-old, who was hit by a car last week when her school bus dropped her on the wrong side of the road succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday, May 18.

According to reports, the Class 3 student of Ryan International School was in coma since the incident and had suffered injuries on her head.

Gurgaon: 7-yr old succumbs to injuries

The girl had suffered brain swelling after the accident took place, when her school bus dropped her on the wrong side of the road. She then tried to cross the road on her own, without the help of an attender when she was hit by a speeding car.

The driver of the car immediately escaped leaving the girl hurt. The girl's parents filed a complaint with police, who are currently investigating the case and said that they were speaking to wtinesses regarding the same.

Several parents protested outside the school following the incident. So far no arrests have been made in the case. The issue also raised several concerns about the safety of school going kids.
