Gujarat: Mob attacks police station in Dahod village, one dies in firing
Villagers attacked local policemen and set their vehicles ablaze following the death of a local resident after being interrogated by the police, reported The Indian Express.
One person was allegedly killed in police firing in a clash between a group of villagers and police in Dahod district of Gujarat on Thursday. Villagers clashed with police in the wake of the alleged death of a local during interrogation.

Kanesh Gamara,31, was picked up for an interrogation about his brother over his involvement in a dacoity case, but he died an hour after he was released, as per reports.
A crowd then gathered at the police station demanding for the policeman who interrogated him to be booked. When the policemen said a case of accidental death would be booked, the villagers stoned the policemen, who then opened fire to disperse the crowd.
The farmer who died in the firing is survived by his wife, and six children. A handful of policemen were also left injured in the unrest.
