Guilty plea of terror accused: Court seeks NIA’s reply
The prosecution had claimed one of the men had received an amount through Western Union Money Transfer from Saudi Arabia, sent by another accused.
A special court has directed the National Investigation Agency to file its reply after it took on record the guilty plea of five terror accused.
Last week, five men from Nanded, who were arrested in 2012, had told the court that they wanted to accept their guilt. On Monday, the court directed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to file its reply by next week. The men were arrested by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad on the allegations of being part of a Lashkar-e-Tayiba module. It was also alleged that they were planning on inciting the Muslim youth.
