Ghaziabad building collapse: One body recovered from debris, nine others rescued
Ghaziabad, July 22: A five-storey building came down near Missal Gadi in Ghaziabad on Sunday. Rescue services have reached the accident spot where several labourers are feared trapped under the debris. The building collapsed around 3 pm.
Police, fire dept and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team are present at the spot, news agency ANI reported.

Meanwhile, the NDRF team has rescued nine persons from the site of a five-storey building collapse in Ghaziabad's Missal Gadi. And one body has also been recovered by the team.
.According to the initial reports, the building was under construction and was located in a dense locality. The labourers were working when the incident took places, eyewitnesses said. The owner of the building has been identified as Prasanjeet.
Prima facie, there seems to be issues with quality of the building. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered. 7 people have been rescued and sent to hospital. There is no casualty as of now. The incident comes on a day when authorities in Greater Noida ordered a building in Shah Beri village to be vacated after a crack developed on one of the pillars.
