From VIPs to cops, how cruel heatwave is ‘killing’ us all
There seems to be no respite from the heatwave in April across the country.
If reports are to be believed, temperature in most parts of the country is not going to come down anytime soon. According to weathermen, parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are likely to witness temperature as high as 48 degrees Celsius.
Already places like Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, to name a few, have recorded more than 42 degrees Celsius this week.
The extreme weather conditions have left everyone miserable and in the process many have died as official records indicate that around 12 people have died in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Unofficially, both the states perhaps have witnessed more than 30 deaths.
As we scanned through a couple of pictures of news agency, PTI, what comes out clearly is the fact that from VIPs to policemen, nobody has been spared by rising temperatures.
