Four years of Modi sarkar: #4SaalDeshBehaal?
A day ahead of the big day for the BJP, on Friday, the hashtag--#4SaalDeshBehaal(In four years the country is suffering, a loose English translation of the hashtag)--was trending on Twitter.
New Delhi, May 25: On Saturday, the Narendra Modi government will complete its fourth year in power at the Centre. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to celebrate the day in a grand manner by showcasing its achievements in the last four years.
On the big day, the BJP is also planning to formally launch its campaign for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, most likely to take place in April-May next year. There are also reports that the General elections 2019 might be preponed and will be held in December this year.
This time, the BJP's main election slogan will be "2019 Mein Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar" (In 2019, Modi Government Yet Again), according to various media reports. In 2014, the BJP came to power with its famous slogan-- "Abki Baar Modi Sarkar" (This Time, Modi's Government).
Amid all these jubilations in the BJP camp, opposition parties and critics of the Modi government have sharpened their knives to further attack the ruling regime over various issues.
The Modi government is celebrating its fourth year at a time when the entire nation is reeling under various issues. Four years since the BJP government came to power at the Centre, Modi's big promises of "Achhe Din" (Good Days) or "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas" (Collective Efforts Inclusive Growth) remained mere slogans as the country is currently reeling under various problems, said a political analyst.
Right from prices of fuels reaching an all-time high, lack of job opportunities, rise in the numbers of rapes and murders of women/girls, mob lynching of Muslims and Dalits, saffronisation of educational institutions and subversion of judiciary by the ruling regime at the Centre, to name a few, the Modi government has come under severe attack from various quarters for its manifold failures.
A day ahead of the big day for the BJP, on Friday, the hashtag--#4SaalDeshBehaal(In four years the country is suffering, a loose English translation of the hashtag)--was trending on Twitter.
