Team 'Modi-fication' released by PMO; Modi's first day as PM gets a steady start
Interestingly, there was no change in the daily routine of Narendra Modi, which starts with Yoga and meditation. Following this, he reached office at 8:00 am sharp for a packed day ahead.
The first thing that he did was pay tribute to a picture of Mahatma Gandhi for a fruitful start of the day. The file for the cabinet portfolio was presented, he signed and released the official letter. However, the best part was that everything was spot on time.
Earlier the photo ops had been cancelled since the final portfolio names had not been announced, but they are in place now.
According to reports, there are several bilateral meetings ahead in the day, which may include Afghan President Hamid Karzai, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajpakse and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at around 12:10 pm.
The above key bilateral meetings intend to strengthen the relations between the three countries. The discussions with Sharif and Karzai would address the peace ties. With Rajapakse, the PM may strike a conversation regarding the captivated Indian fishermen.
The final list of portfolio according to a press release by the PM's office is as follows:
