FCI Recruitment 2019: Apply online for 4,103 posts, application process begins Feb 23

New Delhi, Feb 13: The Food Corporation of India (FCI) will release an official recruitment notification on February 23.

There are 4,103 vacancies for various posts including Junior Engineer (Civil Engineer/ Electrical Mechanical Engineering), Assistant Grade II (AG II) (HINDI), Steno Grade- II, Typist (Hindi) And Assistant Grade - III (AG III) (General/ Accounts/ Technical/ Depot posts) in offices spread all over the country.

Interested candidates can apply online for FCI Posts from 23 February to 25 March 2019. A candidate can apply in any one zone only i.e. Either North Zone OR South Zone OR East Zone OR West Zone OR North East Zone.

They are also informed that the admit cards will be made available on the official website for download - 15 days prior to announced date of examination.

Eligibility criteria: The candidates should hold a diploma or degree in Engineering for the posts. For post wise detail on educational qualifications, please check the official notifications.

Selection process: Candidates will have to take a written test followed by interviews conducted by FCI for being selected for the posts which are yet to be officially announced by the Corporation.

How to apply: The candidates can apply through the official website, fci.gov.in on or before March 25, 2019.

The FCI was setup under the Food Corporation's Act 1964 , in order to fulfill objectives of the Food Policy in regard to effective price support operations for safeguarding the interests of the farmers, distribution of foodgrains throughout the country for public distribution system and maintaining satisfactory level of operational and buffer stocks of foodgrains to ensure National Food Security.
