Former independent MLA from Mundka constituency and Congress leader Rambir Shooken has been arrested by special cell of Delhi police, media reported on Monday.
New Delhi, Nov 28: Former independent MLA from Mundka constituency and Congress leader Rambir Shooken has been arrested by the special cell of Delhi police, media reported on Monday.
Shokeen arrested under provisions of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) carried a bounty of Rs 1lakh on his head.
He was charge-sheeted last year under provisions of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) for his alleged involvement in a crime syndicate headed by his nephew Neeraj Bawana.

Shokeen was elected to the Delhi Assembly as an independent MLA in 2013 , and he later joined the Congress party.
