EVMs: Mayawati wants to go to court, BJP wants her to see a doctor
The BJP is clearly unfazed by her allegations on EVM tampering, and wants her to go see a doctor
While former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have been alleging tampering of EVMs leading to their loss in assembly polls, the Bahujan Samaj Party Supremo went one step further to state that she would move court. Unfazed by her allegations, the BJP wants Mayawati to visit a hospital instead.
"While I don't care if Mayawati goes to court, but before that she should visit a hospital to get herself treated well, she needs a break," said K P Maurya of the BJP in response to the BSP mulling moving court alleging rigging in elections.
Apart from moving court, the BSP supremo also said that the party would observe a black day every month against the 'murder of democracy' by the BJP. She was addressing supporters after paying tributes to party founder Kanshi Ram on his birth anniversary. Meanwhile, Kejriwal too sought the Election Commission's intervention to probe the alleged EVM tampering.
