Establish one even if Muslims have no grievances: PFI style operation

The PFI which is now banned had many tricks up its sleeve to brainwash the youth and bring them under their fold

New Delhi, Feb 09: The Popular Front of India (PFI) wanted to bring Islamic Rule to India by 2047, the chargesheet filed by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad said.

Creating disaffection and hatred against other religions by spreading disinformation of atrocities among Muslim youths was the main agenda of the five persons arrested, the ATS informed a special court in Mumbai.

The ATS chargesheet while citing a line from a book of the PFI said that the outfit speaks says that there is a need to repeatedly remind the Muslims of their grievances and establish one, when there are none.

The chargesheet also spoke about a letter they had received in October along with a CD, which had said that the members of the banned PFI and SIMI shared the same ideology. The letter was anonymous in nature, the ATS also said.

The letter that was sent to the Kalachowki office of the ATS had the names of PFI members, including Mazhar Mansoor Khan, who was in ATS custody. The organisation is working to break the country and incite the youth against Hindus, the letter also read.

Further the ATS said that it had recovered a book, "India 2047, Towards Rule of Islam in India, from the residence of Manzhar Manzoor in Vikhroli. The book speaks about turning India into an Islamic state. The book was given to every recruit of the PFI.

While stating the reasons of having an Islamic state, the book speaks about how the Muslim community, once ruled the country. However now they have been reduced to second-grade citizens, due to which there is a need for the community to wake up, act and work towards the target of 2047.

The booklet also speaks about the need to repeatedly remind the Muslim community of their grievances and even establish grievances when they are none. All of frontal organisations. We also need to focus on establishing an Islamic identity among everyone beyond the concept of being Indian.

The line in the book which speaks about establishing a grievance even if there is none, is text book how the PFI operated. The idea was to create fear in the minds of the Muslims and radicalise them. There was a massive disinformation campaign that was launched by the PFI when the CAA was introduced. The outfit along with the help of our 'very own liberal,' gave the impression that CAA and NRC was being bought in to target the Indian Muslims. To set the record straight all over again, the CAA was meant to give citizenship to the persecuted minorities in Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The NRC on the other hand is an exercise to identify illegal migrants in the country, who have snatched away the jobs of the locals, grabbed their land, circulated fake currency, indulged in heinous activity and run a narco racket.

Further the PFI had brainwashed many of its cadres by spreading a false narrative against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It also spoke about brainwashed its cadre by stating how the current dispensation under PM Modi is not conducive for Muslims. Spread hate against Yogi Adityanath, Sadhvi Nirajan and counter them by spreading hate against Hindus, the book also said.
