Elderly man from Maharashtra travelling to Bengaluru goes missing
Bengaluru, Dec 14: An elderly man, who was travelling from Miraj city in southern Maharashtra to Bengaluru, on Monday, Dec 14, went missing mysteriously.
On Saturday, Dec 12, Mr Janardan Dasharath Gaikwad was travelling to Bengaluru in Rani Chennamma Express (16590).
His anxious family member told OneIndia, "My uncle was wearing a pink shirt and brown trouser", while adding that "his fellow travellers were saying that he was not on his berth from Londa Junction in Belagavi district of Karnataka."
Gaikwad, is said to be a mentally-challenged person, who is receiving medical treatment at NIMHANS. He visits Bengaluru frequently, due to his health condition.
After he went missing, his family members lodged an FIR at Bangalore Rural Railway Police Station. FIR number is 0217/2015 and GSC Number is PO0242150100437.
