Earth Day is a day of gratitude to Mother Earth, says PM Narendra Modi
"It is our duty to live in harmony with the plants, animals and birds we share the Earth with. We owe this to our future generations", PM said in a tweet.
"I hope this year's theme of 'Environmental & Climate Literacy' helps create awareness on protecting nature & natural resources", Modi tweeted.
Let's take a look how ministers, cricketers and the United Nations expressed gratitude towards Mother Earth on Earth Day, on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
