Delhi Shocker: 9th standard student beaten to death, friends arrested

New Delhi, Aug 25: 14-yer-old Shubham Jindal has been found dead in a forest area in Najafgarh, Delhi. Shubham, a class 9 student, was beaten to death by two of his classmates.

The deceased and the two accused were the students of Krishna Model Scool in southwest Delhi. It has been reported that the two accused killed Shubham as they wanted to take revenge.

Murder

A day before the gruesome murder, Shubham on Saturday, Aug 22 had complained to their teacher about misbehaviour of the two accused.

Shubham, who was the class monitor, was known as a 'straightforward boy'. Just a day after his decision to filed complaint against the two accused, he had gone missing on Sunday, Aug 23.

Delhi Police discovered his body from the forest area on Monday. According to sources, the two accused had called Shubham to play games.

When they reached the area near the forest, the two accused, who were determined to teach Shubham a lesson, attacked him with iron rods.

Shubham died on the spot and the two assailants got onto a bus and headed for Haryana.

When police arrested them from Haryana, the duo were quoted as saying, "We didn't think it through."
