In crowded terror market, new outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen India is born
Adding to the already crowded terror market in India, three Bangladeshis have set up the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen India. This was set up by Salahuddin Salehin and Jahidul Islam alias Bomaru Mizan.
In an interview given by Salehin, the announcement to set up the Indian chapter of the JMB was made. He said that they are working to ensure that Hindustan turns into a centre for Hijrat or migration for religious battle. The Indian Muslims can play a major role in the establishment of a Caliphate, he also said.
He further said that they have managed to build this organisation afresh. We started our movement in Bangladesh and have now spread to India, he further said in the interview.
He further made it clear that the the outfit does not lean towards the ISIS. We follow the al-Qaeda he also said. He said that the time is ripe for Ghazwat ul Hind (conquest of India).
Intelligence Bureau officials terms this development as an attempt by the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh to rebrand itself in India. The JMB is already existent in India and is very strong in West Bengal. The Burdhwan incident in which the officials found hundreds of bombs was the handiwork of the JMB.
The IB officer also noted that the JMB has been aligning with the SIMI in West Bengal. They have been trying to raise the Rohingya bogey and the hand of the outfit was found in the recent incident at Bodhgaya.
