CPM leader kicks pregnant woman in womb, she loses baby
One person has been arrested in the case but the main accused is still absconding. The victim's family has held protests outside a police station to pressurize the cops to nab Thamby.
A woman had to undergo forced an abortion after being allegedly kicked in the stomach by a CPM leader in Kerala's Kozhikode. Police have arrested seven people in connection with the case.

The woman was kicked badly when she intervened in the tussle between her husband and the a local CPI(M) leader named Thamby. She started bleeding incessantly. She was rushed to a hospital nearby, where she had to undergo a forced abortion, reported Times Now.

"The local party workers are coming here daily, asking me to withdraw the complaint against Thamby," woman's husband said referring to the CPM leader. "My decision is to fight the case till the end. I have decided to sit in front of the police station demanding justice," he was quoted as saying by Times Now.
