Complaints have been filed against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Bengaluru Development Minister K J George accusing them of corruption. BJP leader N R Ramesh has filed complaints about misappropriation of funds under Indira canteen scheme.
N R Ramesh has accused Siddaramaiah of swindling Rs 65 crore under the Indira Canteen scheme. "Rs 39 lakh is being misappropriated for every kitchen and Rs 18 lakh for every canteen that is being set up under the scheme. In all 27 kitchens and 198 canteens are being set up and the total funds misappropriated is Rs 65 crore," alleged N R Ramesh.
The former BJP corporator has filed complaints against Siddaramaiah, K J George and three others with the Lokayukta, Anti Corruption Bureau apart from approaching the 4th ACMM court with a petition. A petition seeking direction to the police to register cases under IPC sections 403, 406, 464, 468, 477(a) has been filed.
