Congress looks to replicate Karnataka model in Goa

The Congress had last week met with the Goa Governor and asked him to invite them to form the government as they were the single largest party in Goa. The Congress has begun talks with the MGP and is trying to work out the modalities.

The MGP had made it clear that it had supported Parrikar and not the BJP. While the Congress has been trying to engage the MGP, its leader and PWD minister, Ramkrishna Sudin has ruled out any truck with the Congress.
